Organic Model

Our aim was to use different techniques meaning different density in the plaster and change the structure constantly, and see the final result as a big one that works in individual parts.

We focus on the term of tectonics because one of the things that called our attention was how the plaster works in different ways depending on the density it has. So what we did is use it on many different densities and the result was the next; eventhough we tried to manipulate the module by adjusting the plaster, it "evolved" by itself by drying out the first layers of plaster despite of its density. You can see the different layers interacting each other. Thats why out term is tectonics, because of the layers that are staying one on top of the other or even sideways like the tectonic plates of the Earth's surface.
